Somebody Took The Time To Make This Tuesday

Okay, well…this week I decided to show the highlights of the 2010 Illinois Hog Calling Competition. So I’m actually really happy that somebody took the time to make this video. What’s hard to believe in this instance is that Somebody (lots of somebodies) take the time (probably too much time) to practice hog calling. Apparently, enough to have an entire competition around it.

Album Review: S. Carey - All We Grow

 

BACKSTORY: For those unaware, the now indie sensation Bon Iver started as a solo project of bearded Wisconsinite Justin Vernon.  As Vernon took this show on the road, he enlisted the assistance of his teenage guitar student, Michael Noyce, and enthusiastic fan, Sean Carey.  Story goes, Carey approached Vernon at a Bon Iver show and offered up his services, already knowing how to play the songs.  The rest was history.
